Our firm is named for Ernest Rutherford, who split the atom in 1917. On the question of harnessing nuclear energy, he said that anyone expecting a power source was "talking moonshine." A century later, we see things differently.

Who We Are
Rutherford Energy Ventures (REV) is a venture capital investment and advisory platform focused exclusively on the fusion energy sector. We invest across the full fusion ecosystem, advise institutional capital on technical and economic risk, develop the engineering and commercialization benchmarks the industry needs to scale, and lay the groundwork for the financial markets fusion power will eventually trade in.
A firm like this needs people who can speak both languages—the physics and the finance. We have assembled a multidisciplinary team that brings together deep technical expertise in plasma physics, nuclear engineering, and energy systems with proven leadership in investment management, compliance, and operations.
